Mobility Sales Assessor

Location: Based in Glasgow, Covering Scotland
Salary: Competitive + An Excellent Commission Scheme + Company Vehicle

Contract: Permanent Full Time
Hours: Hours discussed at Interview stage (Monday to Friday)

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic self-starter to be our Product Demonstration Specialist attending pre-arranged appointments with prospective customers, either at their home, a car dealership or their place of work.

You will be a confident and articulate presenter who can demonstrate empathy with our customers, whilst providing a professional level of service by fully assessing the best products to meet each customer’s requirements and presenting them positively and accurately.

The perfect candidate would benefit from a good understanding of both vehicles and mobility products with an awareness of different disabilities and their effects, although these are not absolute requirements.

We will provide comprehensive training on the whole range of vehicle adaptations available, along with a Company Vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the full product range from appointments set by Office Administrator or Branch Manager
  • Understand the customer’s needs and present in a consultative manner
  • Attend exhibitions and successfully follow up on leads
  • Working closely with the Branch Manager, assist in the development of both existing and new dealers and dealer groups
  • Complete all paperwork necessary as specified by the Branch Manager
  • Regular travel and some over-night stays are required for this role

Required abilities and experience:

Ideally you will have had previous experience in the vehicle adaptation, modification business and a good idea how the Motability scheme works, a hardworking outgoing person who thrives in dealing with people with disabilities and a passion for improving their vehicle driving experience with the range of vehicle adaptations we offer.

Key skills include

  • IT literate and competent in using the MS Office Suite
  • Skilled at building and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and dealers alike
  • A people person, experienced in dealing with the general public
  • Possess a logical approach to problem solving
  • Valid driving licence
