Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire.
Salary: £24,517 – £26,017 per annum. Rising to (£25,017 – £26,517) from April 2019.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
We have an opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join the team based in Northampton on a full-time permanent basis. You will receive a salary of £24,517 – £26,017 per annum (inclusive of a sleep-in allowance of £7,517) and the opportunity to develop your career with us, gain training and qualifications and apply for promotions.
Total Care Matters is a dedicated provider of residential care services for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 8-17.
We are recruiting for our beautiful children’s homes in Northampton, where we have fantastic opportunities for Senior Residential Support Workers to provide the highest quality care and therapeutic support to children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £24,517 – £26,017 per annum for Senior Residential Support Workers (The salary includes the potential to earning up to £7,517 for sleep in shifts (£62.64 per sleep in)).
Our ideal Senior Residential Support Worker will have the following skills and experience: –
• Be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
• Possess at least eighteen months previous experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting
• Hold a full UK driving licence
This role would suit an experienced Care Support Worker or Children’s Services Support Worker.
The hours of work for this role will be based on shifts and will include sleep-in’s and weekend work.
We are keen to recruit casual Support Workers on a bank basis (with hourly pay of £8.00), as well as Residential Support Workers for our existing children’s homes Northamptonshire.
