ABOUT US – MAITH DESIGN

Maith Design was established in 2015, by Alan Grieve,
to provide a modern design and architectural service
across the UK. Following his 25 years in the construction
industry, working on a large range of project typologies,
the practice aimed to primarily focus on hotel and
commercial residential projects, in line with the
knowledge and experience most recently gained.

Maith Design rapidly developed a strong portfolio of large scale
commercial, residential and hotel projects.
Alan is fully supported by a very experienced senior
team consisting of Aileen Jackson, Associate Director
and Russell Main, Ross Murray and Phil Lebessis who
provide a comprehensive set of design and technical
skills, resulting in the impressive portfolio of projects
delivered since Maiths inception.

Individually the team have a broad range of experience
across various sectors; and Maith Design continue to
develop a growing reputation as the go-to experts for
hotel and residential developments, including student,
as a result of their pro-active, imaginative approach and
can-do attitude to all of their projects and clients.

MAITH DESIGN – PROJECTS SUMMARY

Over the past eight years, we have consistently delivered architectural services across a range of successful projects; with an overall construction value in the region of £300M.
Project scales vary from bespoke residential developments, in the region of £1M, through to hotel, residential and PBSA projects ranging from £5M to £50M; with the majority
falling into the £10M-£20M range.
Regardless of scale or typology, we apply the same rigorous approach to client service, project design and technical delivery; with a suite of detailed project monitoring documents.

Are you a talented, project running Architect or Technician with commercial experience? If so, we’d love you to join our city center studio to work on a range of projects, including: hotels; student accommodation; and large scale residential developments.

We are looking to secure the services of experienced Architects/Technicians, who possess the following:

• Excellent design skills
• Strong technical knowledge at detailing stages of projects
• Experience in a variety of sectors
• Capable of leading projects
• At ease dealing directly with clients
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to multi-task under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think logically and look for alternative solutions
• Helpful and positive, willing to get involved in a wide variety of tasks
