247 Machining Services Ltd is a relatively new company in the North East of Scotland created by John and Aileen Forrest who have over 30 years’ experience in the steel fabrication and engineering sector. John had the opportunity to branch into a new area of engineering by investing in CNC precision engineering.

This was achieved by employing a wealth of knowledge in a very highly experienced team. The company has heavily invested in state-of-the-art machinery with two Yamazaki Mazak Quickturn 350MY Lathe machines, a Yamazaki Mazak Quick Turn 200 MA LSmooth machine along with a Doosan Puma 3100XLY CNC Lathe, Dugard 700L CNC Lathe and a Bridgeport Milling Machine. In 2021 a Yamazaki Mazak Integrex i400 Lathe was added to the fleet.

Our goal is to provide our customers with a high-quality product along with a high standard of customer service. We achieve this with our highly experienced workforce, with well over 20 years’ experience and the use of quality equipment.

Our commitment to quality is evident through our attainment of ISO 9001:2015 Registration within the first year of our company opening for business.
