Location: Woolpit, Suffolk
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We’re now looking for a skilled and motivated Civils & Groundworks Operative to join our growing team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a range of groundwork and civil engineering projects, including the installation of septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, drainage systems, and associated groundworks.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of sewage treatment plants and septic systems
• Excavation and trenching works
• Installation of drainage systems and pipework
• Concreting, foundations, and footings
• Operating plant machinery (if ticketed)
• Reading and working from site drawings and plans
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and to specification
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in civils and groundworks
• Experience installing treatment plants and drainage systems
• Valid CSCS card (preferred)
• CPCS/NPORS plant tickets (advantageous)
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work to deadlines
