Accedo Care – Who are we?
Accedo is a care provider delivering quality support services for those living with a learning disability and associated needs. We are a company that likes to approach care differently and believe in allowing individuals to make a choice; their choice.
We work closely with private landlords, who provide each individual with their own self-contained flat on an assured short hold tenancy, giving them full independence in terms of having a home that is truly their own. We provide domiciliary care packages to individuals in their own homes and within private rented accommodation.
At Accedo, we support the individuals who use our services to make choices, be happy, feel free, be safe, be well – and be themselves. We support people to work, play and learn, to take responsibility, to socialise, to join in, to make friends, to find love, to follow their hearts, to follow their dreams, to pour melted Mars Bars over popcorn in front of a movie on a Saturday night (maybe not every Saturday night) and most importantly to enjoy life and to live their life.
We also provide domiciliary services. This would be a service provided to you if you already live in your own home or live with a family member who is your primary carer. Our staff can come into your home to support you with personal care, meals, medication and can also assist you with community activities. This can be as little or often as you and your carer require.
We provide supported living services in the community. This means that essentially, you are the homeowner or tenant of your own flat, house or shared house where our team will come in to support you with what you need, when you need it.
