Design 4 Life established day services in 2009 to provide community support with a buildings base to adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. Our aim is to provide a modern pro-active approach to care provision that responds to person centered need with a multi skilled and experienced staff team.

Vision Statement

Design 4 Life Community Service aims to be a provider of quality support services to people with learning disabilities in Bristol and the surrounding counties.

People with learning difficulties will have a meaningful and purposeful role in society enjoying all the rights, freedoms and responsibilities that full and active citizenship brings.

We will develop a workforce that embraces and reflects the values of our organisation through a proactive approach to performance management, staff engagement and professional and personal development.

Service Provision

The Design 4 Life staff team have a skills base that enables the delivery of high quality personalised care and support to individuals with complex health, physical and social care needs. Design 4 Life support individuals with profound and multiple learning difficulties with a range of complex health needs. Staff are appropriately trained by associated professionals to reach high standards of competencies in supporting individuals on a one to one basis both at Design 4 Life’s base and in the community. Design 4 Life’s staff team are skilled in working in a person centered way supporting individuals who experience high levels of personal care.
